JEM Cutters are beautifully designed plastic cutters that are a great addition to any cake, cupcake or bakers tool kit and allow for consistently accurate cutting and final results.
JEM Cutters can be used with all types of icing, Sugarpaste (Fondant), Flower Paste, Modelling Paste or Gum Paste.

JEM Cutter Tips:
It is recommended that for best results and ease of use that you use the JEM Roller Pad with all JEM Cutters and use Flower Paste, Modelling Paste or Gum Paste as it is stronger and can be rolled very thin and is therefore easier to remove from cutter. If you are using using Sugarpaste we recommend that you add PME C.M.C Petal Powder which will add the additional strength and elasticity required.
Roll the paste out thinly (but thick enough to take the embossed pattern from the cutter) on a work surface, use PME Petal Base on both the work surface and cutter to prevent sticking. Place the back of your chosen cutter into the JEM Roller Pad, and place the rolled out paste on top of the cutter.
Roll over the paste on the cutter to cut out the design and leave to air dry for a few minutes before removing - this will prevent any distortion as you remove the paste from the cutter. Remove by flicking a corner out with a PME Scriber Tool. Leave to dry either flat or on a former.
