How to verify a bet, step by step
- Before playing, note the hashed server seed the casino shows you. This is its commitment — it can't change the underlying seed later without the hash no longer matching.
- Set or note your client seed. Change it if you want to be certain the casino didn't anticipate it.
- Play your bets. The nonce increments by one with each one.
- When you're done, "rotate" or reveal the seed — the casino now discloses the unhashed server seed.
